Volunteers Needed!
We are looking for at least THREE volunteers to comprise the Nominating Committee. This committee and its members are required (as stated in the WMHOA By Laws) and much needed in order to properly execute the next election of HOA Board Members at the 2021 Annual Meeting. The By Laws state that the current board can appoint members of this committee but we would like to extend the invitation to residents to volunteer first. If there are not enough or no volunteers at all the Board will be required to appoint individuals at their discretion.
Responsibilities for Nominating Committee Members are as follows:
-Members of the Nominating Committee shall make as many nominations for election to the Board of Directors as it pleases, but not less than the number of board vacancies to be
filled. This year we are anticipating all 3 board positions (President, Vice President & Secretary/ Treasurer) needing to be filled. It is suggested but not required that the Secretary/ Treasurer have experience with Bookkeeping and/or use of QuickBooks online platform.
-The committee may nominate any person(s) that they choose, however it would be the current Board’s preference for individuals to volunteer for Board Positions or to be asked by the Nominating Committee rather than be selected without their prior consent.
-The Nominating Committee shall be comprised of 1 Chairperson and 2 General Members. The Chairperson will hold a seat on the Board of Directors and will be required to attend monthly Board Meetings (Board Members may not miss more than 3 consecutive
meetings).
If you would like more information or would like to volunteer for a position please reach out to us via email at: wmhoa17356@gmail.com
Thank you!

Spring Has Sprung!
Happy Spring Y’all!
While we all seem to be enjoying the warmer weather and sunny days, this change in weather brings not only spring cleaning inside but outside as well. The HOA wanted to take a few moments to remind everyone of some tasks that you may need to complete. We will complete our Spring Walk-Around soon and would prefer not to have to issue letters to anyone. While these items may seem obvious to some we understand that we all get busy and our “To Do Lists” can get away from us.
Rocks – Township street cleaning begins this week! While we do not know what day our development will be cleaned it could be any day. Please take a few minutes to sweep or move any rocks on your sidewalks, curbs into the street so that they are cleaned by the Township. Also please refrain from street parking during the week as much as possible so that our entire development is cleaned.
Mailboxes – For those whose mailboxes were hit and broken/ damaged by the plow or for other reasons please take the time to replace your mailbox this spring. Remember that mailboxes must have a white post and a black or tan top. While we understand it is not our homeowners fault that their mailboxes may have been broken/ damaged by the Township Plow Trucks broken posts, missing support bars, etc. must be replaced.
Trees/ Shrubs – If your property has a tree and/ or shrub that is dead please take the time over the next week or two to remove these. Also, take a look at your living plants and give them a trim if needed.
Flower Beds, Gardens. etc. – Flower beds, gardens and other places where you may have items planted must be kept free of weeds at all times. As things start to bloom this spring take a quick look around for any weeds that may be growing and remove them.
Broken Items – If you have broken items such as chairs, outdoor furniture, basketball hoops, etc. please contact the Township to arrange for large item trash pickup. This is a free service but requires that you to notify the Township prior to putting these kinds of items at the curb on trash day. We know the wind can be quite brutal at times here and can damage all sorts of items you may have. However, these items cannot remain outdoors where others can view them. They must be disposed of or stored in your garage, basement, etc.
Shutters, Doors – Take a few minutes to look at the outside of your homes. Faded shutters, doors etc. should be restored. You may choose to paint or replace these items but those with significantly faded shutters and/ or doors will need to take action. This includes garage doors as well.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have. We appreciate everyone’s efforts in taking care of their homes/ property to keep the entire development looking its best!

Winter Weather Reminders
Hello Residents!
We have received several inquiries regarding plowing and snow removal these past few weeks. As a reminder/ clarification the HOA does not plow the development. This is done by the Township and their ordinances/ rules must be followed in regards to snow removal. The Township requires that snow and ice are removed from walkways (i.e. sidewalks) no more than 24 hours after precipitation ends. They have inspected our development in the past and issued a large number of fines to residents. While the HOA does not enforce Township ordinances we wanted to remind everyone of this as the Township has indicated the entire development was not in compliance recently and that there is a planned inspection in the near future.
Also, if your mailbox is hit by the plow or you witness other mailboxes being hit by the plow we encourage you to contact the the Township at info@windsortwp.com . Several residents have informed us that their mailboxes have been hit this year.

2021 Assessment & More…
Good afternoon everyone! The WMHOA Executive Board has finalized the budget for the 2021 Fiscal year, which begins on January 1, 2021. The budget was distributed via email and also posted on our Facebook page. Some items to note:
Retention Pond Maintenance and Mowing: We will again use Hamilton’s Outdoor Services for the mowing and maintenance of the Retention Pond. If you have any questions or concerns about mowing, maintenance, or the retention pond you can always send us an email (wmhoa17356@gmail.com) or submit a note using the form on the Contact page of the website.
2021 Budget and Assessment: We have emailed the details of the budget which notes the amount for the 2021 Annual Assessment today, however, the email is NOT your official 2021 Annual Assessment statement. The statements will be mailed to each resident beginning in November by USPS and will have a strict due date of on or before January 1, 2021. The details for when and how to make your payment will be outlined on your official invoice. We will again offer a $5.00 Digital Communications discount. If you did not sign up for this last year please complete the form (located on the website under Documents) and email to us before 12/15/2021.
Trash and Recycling: If at all possible, we are requesting that your trash and recycle bins only remain at the curb for a period of 24hrs. We greatly value your efforts in helping to keep the trash and litter contained during this windy time of year.
Board Positions: Please email us (wmhoa17356@gmail.com) if interested in serving as a Board Member for 2021. Volunteers are needed! More details were sent via email earlier today.
As always, we are here for any information requests or questions you may have and hope that you are having a fantastic start to your week!
Sincerely,
WMHOA Executive Board
