Spring Has Sprung!

Happy Spring Y’all!

While we all seem to be enjoying the warmer weather and sunny days, this change in weather brings not only spring cleaning inside but outside as well. The HOA wanted to take a few moments to remind everyone of some tasks that you may need to complete. We will complete our Spring Walk-Around soon and would prefer not to have to issue letters to anyone. While these items may seem obvious to some we understand that we all get busy and our “To Do Lists” can get away from us.

Rocks – Township street cleaning begins this week! While we do not know what day our development will be cleaned it could be any day. Please take a few minutes to sweep or move any rocks on your sidewalks, curbs into the street so that they are cleaned by the Township. Also please refrain from street parking during the week as much as possible so that our entire development is cleaned.

Mailboxes – For those whose mailboxes were hit and broken/ damaged by the plow or for other reasons please take the time to replace your mailbox this spring. Remember that mailboxes must have a white post and a black or tan top. While we understand it is not our homeowners fault that their mailboxes may have been broken/ damaged by the Township Plow Trucks broken posts, missing support bars, etc. must be replaced.

Trees/ Shrubs – If your property has a tree and/ or shrub that is dead please take the time over the next week or two to remove these. Also, take a look at your living plants and give them a trim if needed.

Flower Beds, Gardens. etc. – Flower beds, gardens and other places where you may have items planted must be kept free of weeds at all times. As things start to bloom this spring take a quick look around for any weeds that may be growing and remove them.

Broken Items – If you have broken items such as chairs, outdoor furniture, basketball hoops, etc. please contact the Township to arrange for large item trash pickup. This is a free service but requires that you to notify the Township prior to putting these kinds of items at the curb on trash day. We know the wind can be quite brutal at times here and can damage all sorts of items you may have. However, these items cannot remain outdoors where others can view them. They must be disposed of or stored in your garage, basement, etc.

Shutters, Doors – Take a few minutes to look at the outside of your homes. Faded shutters, doors etc. should be restored. You may choose to paint or replace these items but those with significantly faded shutters and/ or doors will need to take action. This includes garage doors as well.

Please contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have. We appreciate everyone’s efforts in taking care of their homes/ property to keep the entire development looking its best!
