Good afternoon everyone! The WMHOA Executive Board has accepted a mowing bid and finalized the budget for the 2020 Fiscal year, which begins on January 1, 2020.
Retention Pond Maintenance and Mowing: Board members made calls and requested information on mowing and maintenance services from five different landscaping companies. Two companies never returned our calls and after speaking with one of the companies it was determined by both parties that the services offered did not meet the needs of WMHOA. We are pleased to announce that we have accepted a contract with Hamilton’s Outdoor Services. They will be providing regular mowing and as needed weed mitigation and haul away services for the 2020 mowing season. (*note: We will not be having the grass of the retention pond treated for weeds – we will have drainage areas kept clean and free of tall weeds that effect proper drain and flow patterns) If you have any questions or concerns about mowing, maintenance, or the retention pond you can always send us an email or submit a note using the form on the Contact page of our website.
2020 Budget and Assessment: We are emailing the details of the budget which notes the amount for the 2020 Annual Assessment today, however, the email is NOT your official 2020 Annual Assessment statement. The statements will be mailed to each resident beginning in November by USPS and will have a strict due date of January 1, 2020. The details for when and how to make your payment will be outlined on your official billing statement.
REMINDER: The final day for receipt of your Communication Preferences form and opt in for digital communication is November 1, 2019 in order to receive a discount on your 2020 Annual Assessment.
-You must return the form AND opt in for digital communications to receive the discount.
-You may send in the Communication Preferences form at any time but we will not be able to offer a discount if the form is received after November 1st.
-Also, please note, regardless of preference we are still required, per the WMHOA ByLaws, to send out Annual Meeting Announcements and Annual Assessment Statements in writing via USPS.
-You may send your form back via USPS or email.
Trash and Recycling: Just a quick note about Trash and Recycle pick up this week. Although RLASD was closed on Monday and many business’ also observed Monday as a holiday Trash and Recycling pick up will remain on its regularly scheduled day. Also, if at all possible, we are requesting that your trash and recycle bins only remain at the curb for a period of 24hrs. We greatly value your efforts in helping to keep the trash and litter contained during this windy time of year.
As always, we are here for any information requests or questions you may have and hope that you are having a fantastic start to your week!
Sincerely,
WMHOA Executive Board
